The right manufacturer can help your product reach customers with confidence. The wrong one can make a good design expensive, late or inconsistent. Here is what to examine before you commit.
Production capacity and equipment
A professional factory should have automated knitting equipment, toe-linking capability and a clear finishing process. Ask about monthly capacity, the number and type of machines, and how quality is checked while production is underway. Where possible, ask for a live tour or arrange a visit.
OEM / ODM customization capabilities
Whether your brief begins with a sketch, a tech pack or an existing sample, your partner should be able to translate it accurately. Look for support in fibre selection, Pantone color matching, jacquard patterning, branding and packaging, together with a predictable sampling timeline.
Quality control process
Quality needs to be a process, not a promise. Ask how incoming yarn is assessed, what in-line checks happen, which AQL standard is used and whether final inspection can be documented before shipment.
Communication and delivery
Good manufacturing communication turns a complex process into a manageable one. Agree how samples are approved, who updates progress, lead times, shipping terms and the exact documents your market requires.
Choose the partner that asks useful questions before it promises an answer.
At Zaichao, we work from confirmed requirements through sampling, monitored production and final inspection — keeping the signal clear at each transition.
